I am looking to order from here:
Wax display (http://www.millershoney.com/waxshow.htm)

You can order wick for 0.20 per yard.

Does one sheet usually make one candle? (it has been a few years since we've done this and last time it was a pricy kit from Magic Cabin)

So, How many sheets will one yard of wick work for? I'm trying to figure out how much wick to order.........

Thanks, I am new to this so for anything else you can tell me to help me (and my children) make these will help.

We used a pattern and each 8 x 8 sheet of beeswax made either two tapered candles, one straight sided candle, two 2" votives or 8 b-day candles.

For a tapered candle I used approx. 9" of wicking for a 8 x 8 sheet of wax.

ETA: a 9" piece of wicking for each tapered candle, not for two candles.

I could possibly scan the pattern and give you the measurements for each side if you want.

Thanks. I like the idea of making votives.....I'm assuming it is all easy to do.

I need to see how big their sheets are....

That would be great
