and I dread the thought of him leaving and of me paying for it (ouch~) and all the stuff that comes with it.

You know what else I felt? (shhh, don't tell anybody) I felt envious cause I wanted to be in college too! :lol:

Was that the arrangement that you paid for it? Is he planning to live in the dorm? Which college is he applying to?

Oh yes, we are paying for it.

He is applying to the UCs and the CSUs, several of them. He hopes for Southern CA, but there are a couple closer being applied to too.

If he gets accepted to one away from home, he will live in a dorm the first year and probably move off campus the second.
