Those rounded edge things?

I saw a few at the Pumpkin Patch this year - those things that go in and out around the edge of the lens? Surely someone knows what I'm talking about ;)

those are hoods. they keep excess light out of your lens.

they are called camera tulips....that's officially the new name.

I SWEAR someone called it that :lol: irl.

Maybe it was their nickname :lol:
