I certainly don't think that they are crap at all. I think that they are fantastic, but I'm also not a pro.

I think that they are both great, but I like the first better.

I agree, I like them, but the more I look at the rose...something isn't right. I love the drops on the leaf though and I think I will print that one for my house.

the rose..i think you are noticing that it's not perfectly sharp....just a little out of focus...i mean a liiiiiiiiiittle....much like my siggy! :hahaha:

Yep, it's the focus...I think the tips of the petals must have been focused on and not the bulk of the rose. I like a different rose picture I got that same day better...I'll have to post it later.

i agree...the leaf photo is nice :)

the focus on the rose fell slightly left and above center of the flower, so it doesn't look "right" to our eyes.

I like both. And rose being slightly of focus... it's all about what you ant to show - it projects the mood of the sun setting and slight haze in the air (at least that's what I see :) )
