i have found something to do while the meds work their magick (and leave my brain and hands unavailable to come up with really good ideas). thank you craftster.org for stencil ideas. i am still getting the hang of cutting out stencils (using different materials) and different paints.


one for my husband - Ming the Merciless (from the original "flash gordon" movie not the crappy scifi redo) and just some experimentation with wax paper, a bottle of bleach water and one of sarahs old navy shirts.

Love the shirt. How did you keep it from bleeding out the edges?

So cool! The bleach water was a great idea. I'm always getting bleach stains on my shirts at the laundromat. Maybe I can make them look like they are supposed to be like that.

I can see the one with the face on it - it's very cool - but I can't see the bleach one. Is it the shirt on the right? It's all one solid color on my screen.
