Its dyeing indigo, just plain indigofera "sludge" that has been dried out. You grind the cake into powder in a mortar and pestle in order to use it to dye in a fermentation vat. Its a pain though so I haven't dyed anything with indigo in a long time.

an ounce or two would be lovely :) even a couple teaspoons :)

Here is the soap I made with a touch of the indigo :) I made another batch with a bit more... but I haven't taken a picture yet. I REALLY wanna go whole hog and do one with LOTS of blue but I haven't had a chance yet :)

I call it ocean song... because the scent blend really smells kinda salty and fresh and the blue swirl :D Thanks SO much Trish! I will get you some soap in the mail in the next week :)
