my dd (will be 3 in december) won't answer questions to which the answer would be "yes"? She is great with questions that begin with who, what, where, and how many (she hasn't quite grasped the concept of why or when yet) and also good with questions to which the answer would be "no" but she has such an issue with "yes". It's just kind of weird to me.
Like if i say "do you have to go pee on the pot?" she will immediately say no mama if she doesn't, but if she does she'll say "go pee potty!" and we'll run to the potty. Or if i say do you want to ride in your stroller, same deal as afore mentioned. So if the answer is yes, she will just repeat the question back to me in a matter-of-fact tone.
any thoughts on this? just a quirk or cause for alarm?
