I am getting a battery sign with ! Does this mean my battery is ****ed? I think it is over two years old.

That's about how long it took for my SIL's one to die. I wouldn't know personally, since both the real ipods I bought for a freaking lot of money died within months. :(

Apparently a new battery costs so much that you might as well buy a new ipod, which is their evil plan, anyway. :lol:

My iPod is almost 2 years old and the battery died a month or so ago. I got a replacement battery from iPod Battery, iPod Mini Battery, 3rd generation, Slim, 4th generation, Mp3 player battery (http://www.ipodbattery.com/) and replaced it myself for about $20 including shipping. It came with a little screwdriver tool, which was about useless, but you can get a set of jeweler's screwdrivers in the hardware store for only a few bucks. Definitely a better deal than going through Apple!!
