Oh man, I've been so busy. How is everyone?
Catherine - YOU'RE PREGNANT? :drop: Oh my g'ness!
I'm so behind on all the news!!! Come on, quick updates for a lazy girl with more things to do than is physically possible to achieve!
Here's our news: ds1 is now 7 and has *finally* lost his first tooth...
dd just had her 5th birthday party TODAY...
Avram is getting close to 8 months, can get basically anywhere he wants by shuffling/crawling/swimming/strategic rolling, and he pulled himself up to standing on the side of the tub today. :help:
And I'm working from home now doing a bunch of fun things - I'm lobbying politicians, doing PR for Green causes, I'm the NZ rep for several International cloth diaper brands, and I'm helping to build up a few of my friends' businesses from WAHM to Wholesale manufacturing conglomerates LOL ;o) [check out ECOBUBS - "Your baby comes first" (http://www.ecobubs.co.nz) - I'm working with her too!]
So, come on, cheat sheet time!

He is adorable! Your work at home stuff sounds awesome. Lil C is 8 months old 2 days ago and doing great. Physically he has some delays due to his vision, but I am hoping he will catch up as his vision issues are addressed.

Luna Blue turned 1 on Saturday, started walking full time on Monday and hasn't looked back or crawled since. :eyes: My baby is a *toddler*!! She's started SCREAMING a lot to communicate, so I am trying like heck to help her figure out words. So far, she's figured out the head movements for yes and no and I am trying to get her to use "Help" when she needs it instead of screaching like a banshee. She's learned "up" and "down" and can say everyone's name excpet Nico is "Coco".
We've discovered that she can climb the ladder to the loft  and so now that is always barricaded. She can get up on the couch by herself, too.
She loves music and dances to songs she really likes. She also started singing a few days ago, what a sweet sound that is!
She's keeping me busy, that is for sure!

Everyone is great here... tired, but great. Alex comes home from his yearly 6 wks with his dad in MI and we are all completely ready for him to come home. Cyan is so excited that she is counting down the hours until the plane comes in. lol!
Logan is starting to walk. He pushes Cyan's stool around the kitchen and yesterday he picked it up while standing... well he can't stand on his own yet so over he went, ass over teakettle, and ended up with a heavy wood stool on his face. Poor baby!! That was a lot of drama. In that same moment, Cyan came in because she was cutting grass and weeds with my clippers and had cut the tip of her finger. It was a long half hour. *sigh* So needless to say, we are busy. lol! I am not ready for him to be walking. He is 7 mos and 2 days.
Here is a better update:
Walking Like Elephants... a blog of children (http://goddesskids.blogspot.com/)
Enjoy! :D
I am so glad everyone is doing so well and yes, Cathrine! That is so exciting! I will be thinking and praying for you and your weebee...
Thanks for starting this thread Belinda... great idea. I miss you. :)

We are doing well, and yes, I am pregnant, lol! They will be about 14.5 to 15 months apart -
Sam is rolling around and just starting to get a tiny bit of forward momentum - he loves to stand though, and will do it whenever he can, and walks with help whenever someone will help him- I am really trying to encourage more floor time so he can get crawling down-
I am anxiously awaiting some babbling, my kids are always slow in this, and i just can't wait for some more language!

What a great thread! I haven't posted in ages... y'all probably don't even remember me, but that's okay! lol
Josie just turned one earlier this month. She's proving to be quite the little climber -- fortunately our couches are still just a hair too tall for her to manage. She's started figuring out how to arrange boxes, ottoman, etc to get where she wants to go. Yikes!
No walking yet, but more and more solo standing attempts. Baby signs just clicked with her, so that's been fun. She gets them mixed up sometimes, but anything to help cut down on some of the screeching is wonderful.
Just this week, separation anxiety seems to have kicked in -- pretty much from out of nowhere. Not that we're actually ever apart very much, LOL.
Great to hear from everyone!

LOL! My youngest dd (now 4!!) called our Niko Coco, too!! :) How cute!!
My not so little guy is nearly 4 months old now. we weighed him at home (you know, weigh yourself then weight with baby) and he weighs between 16 ans 18 pounds!! He is a chunk! We are anticipating the crawling/toddling stage and enjoying every second of the immobile baby we have right now!

Wow, I just now saw this thread. We are doing well. Reagan is pushing 8 months now. She is funny and beautiful and busy. She likes to get down and crawl and pulls herself up on her busy table. She dances when she hears music. Last weekend, we went to my brother-in-law's wedding. His wife is Indian, and so there was an Indian ceremony. We all danced around the groom as he rode in on a white horse. Everyone put their hands in the air, and Reagan joined in. It was too cute.
Molly is going to preschool next week. She is the first to attend preschool. She is so social, though. She is constantly begging me to take her to neighbors' houses, etc., so hopefully this will help.
Liam started first grade and Killian fourth this week. They are home today, though, as everyone is coming down with a nasty virus. We seem to be keeping it at bay with homeopathy, though.
Postpartum finally got the best of me, and I went on Zoloft about 3 weeks ago. It is helping a lot. I have also been using EFT quite successfully.
Gotta go...baby calling! I miss you ladies!

HI
It's been awhile, well since having the baby I think since I've seen a post by Ms.Belinda!!!
Super busy here too -- 4 kids will do that, thyroid dysfunction, failure to thrive baby, and everything else life throws at me.
My 8 mo old just started to sit, airplanes, but not much movement across the floor yet. That is fine with me, I've got messes everywhere that he could get into and well choke!
We're pulling out of our low points, he is gaining weight, I'm on meds, but I wish I could get back that cleaning freak streak I had before I had him!!!
Good to chat, time to check on dinner...

Argh, I know - I've been visiting another board (that is starting to really annoy me!) so you'd better get used to me again! LOL

You temporarily lost me to TheNappyNetwork.org.nz - which is great, but not enough of a community IYKWIM. It's more of a cloth diaper fansite, but doesn't have a lot of room for anything else. Nice because it's actually local (as in, based in New Zealand) but not as crunchy as I like ;)
[I don't think anyone scored higher than me on the Crunchy quiz - but I need you guys to outcrunch me so that I can learn from the best! LOL]
So, Avi's 9 months old, and has *2* tiny teeth and an oral candida infection.
Argh - so, whose baby actually naps? Avram's decided that sleeping in a crib is for suckas, and that naps must be either 1) on Mama, 2) in the stroller/carseat, or 3) on the couch.:eyes:  So yes, my living room floor is LONG overdue a vacuum, and I never go to the store any more, in case I interrupt a nap.:help:
Tips?

Oh Me ME ME!!! Logan has decided sleeping at all is for suckers! UGH! Last night he was up for HOURS in the middle of the night with Don. At least Don is a night person... and I got to sleep, but we had two of those nights last week when Don was here, trying to sleep.
Sleep on mama... that's the best kind. Although it gives mama a KILLER headache, but that doesn't effect the taste of the milk apparently so all is well. :eyes: lol.....
Are you on LLONE too? I just got a PM from a Belinda and was thinking it minght be you. ;)

Hey, Mamas! Good to see you! Reagan hit nine months on Thursday. She also has only two teeth, but seems to be perpetually teething.
She is also a no-napper. If I try to lay her down, she wakes up and yells at me. She will sleep on me. On rare occasions, she will let me lay her down, but the most she ever sleeps that way is about 15 minutes. She will sleep on Daddy when he is home, so sometimes that is the only time anything gets done. Fortunately, when she is awake, she likes to be down and playing, so that is helpful too.
She sleeps pretty well at night, but is definitely nursing plenty throughout the night.
Molly used to wake up every so often at about two in the morning and then want to play until 5:00 or so. It was before the boys were in their room, so I would take her in there, shut the door and snooze on their bed while she crawled and played. Obviously, not great sleep, but better than none. Thankfully, Reagan has not done this...knock on wood!
Oh, and diapering and dressing has become a tag team wrestling match.
