For the kids I mean. Do they have their own rooms, share or a combo of both?

Currently G-8 yr old has his own room, E-5 yr old and J-3 yr old share a room and W-10 months old is in our room. But this will change in the next year or so when G and J will share and E and W will share (I think that is how it is going to work).

Alex-18 has his own room.
Joseph-7 has his own room.
Libby-5 and Caroline-4 share a room.
However, Joseph has bunkbeds and the girls take turns sleeping in there with him. :lol Last night, all three of them were in Joseph's room with one in a sleeping bag in the clubhouse.

Currently, all three olders have one room, and the baby is in our room. Ds1 is in a twin alone, and Ds2 and ds3 share a full size bed. We have 2 more twins to set up, but the 3 beds wont fit into one room.
We are in the process of moving Ds1 to his own room, then ds2 and 3 will have seperate twin beds in the same room. When the baby is ready to leave our room, he will have a baby bed in Ds1's room because it will take up less room, and ds1 is quieter once going to bed over the middle two!
Even if we had more bedrooms, we would probably still have them sharing a room so that there could be room for company.
This is how we ahve it worked out for now anyway!

My girls share a room with a full size bed. Sully and the baby sleep with us. Well, Sully flips with us when we're sleeping and to protect the baby he sleeps in a pack n play that has a bassinet attachment, right next to me.( kinda like a cosleeper) One day when the boys are older they too will share a room. Their clothes and stuff are already in that room.:D

I wish my kids would share a room. Right now they all have thier own. I have tried to get them all into 1 room but I can't get anyone to go to sleep. They stay up all hours and play and Bella won't leave the other 2 alone.

My older boys (6 and 8) share a room and the baby's crib is in there, although he still sleeps with us most of the time. They have a huge room, so there is plenty of space. Our girls (5 and 3) share a room as well.

we have a room we call the girls' dormitory - it's truthfully big enough for all of them to share - I could fit five twin beds in it, if I wanted - maybe even six if I took the dressers out. But, right now that's got three twins in it, a chest of drawers, and a chifferobe plus the playroom.
The other bedroom is small so we have a twin bed with a slide-out trundle and a chest of drawers.

The boys are sharing a bedroom and dd in her own room. We just moved the little wee out of our bed a few months ago when he turned one. Eventually the boys will get bunk beds...

Austin and Nate (11 and 9) share a bedroom. Austin has a loft bed and Nate has a coordinating twin (from Ikea) that is put under it in an L shape. Adam (7) has his own room with a set of bunk beds. Lauren has her own bedroom... it's bigger than mine. She has a queen sized bed so that when we have guests, they sleep in her bedroom and she sleeps on Adam's bottom bunk.

We play musical rooms.
Basically, right now they all have their own rooms (the oldest's is supposed to be a breakfast nook, but he volunteered to take the small room for his).
They move around though.
Also, the first and second born shared for many years and then the second born and third born shared for many years.
The third born still often winds up in the master bedroom by morning though he is almost seven years old and the other two often sleep on the couch or in an extra bed in the youngest's room.
Dh also sometimes winds up on the couch or extra bed if he is restless at night.

Eight children. Three bedroom home. Two of these bedrooms are small: 10X10 and 10X11.
Here's what we do: all four girls are in the 10X10 bedroom. Dh, who isn't Mr. Handyman generally, carefully followed some plans in a magazine and built along one wall (and into the closet, where we removed all the hardware) a bed thing that sleeps all 4 girls and has enough storage space for the two older girls' clothes and craft items and doll items. Ages of girls: 13, 11, 7, 5. As soon as baby moves out of our bed he will move in there into the toddler spot and dh will make another twin extension to this monster-bed, this until baby boy is old enough (like 3 or so) to sleep through the night and not need nighttime parenting.
Second small bedroom is our "quiet room", holding computer and sewing stuff and crafting stuff. Older children can do school there if they need a shut door, or little crafty stuff.
Our "family room" is one big room, but we've put our boys' beds there. Eldest has futon made into couch during the day (he's in college now, but we leave this set up) and next two boys have IKEA's trundle bed, "Robin", which I don't recommend as it is rather flimsy. But at least it doesn't take up a big footprint. Toys are at the other end of this room and video player.
Dh and I get our own room . . . well, when there's no baby (which has been all of a few months now that I think of it)

We have two girls, 10 and 8, who share a room with bunkbeds and two boys, 5 and 2, who will share a room with bunkbeds! It's almost like we planned it!
I say the boys "will" share a room, because the 2 yo is still in a side-carred crib and the 5 year old was sleeping in his top bunk (often with DH on the bottom) until he had a bad dream a few weeks ago and has decided that he needs to sleep with me
Can't complain too much though--I do love sleeping with my little guys...

How do you all get everyone to go to sleep? My kids will play and play and play until all hours when they are bunked in together. But I so love the idea of siblings sharing a room. maybe I should have started when they were younger and then it wouldn't be such a big deal?

Cierra (4) and Hunter (2) have toddler beds in the little room attached to ours (used to be my sewing room) and Brooke (18m) is with us, though I have a sidecar crib set up that she doesn't use. :) Hoping she'll accept it or baby will be in there instead.lol

My girls have always shared a room until recently. We've always had enough rooms for them to have separate rooms but they didn't want to have their own rooms. Anyway now my oldest is nearly 10 she decided she "wanted her own space", much to the horror of my 6 yo. She is slowly coming to terms with having her own room too.

DS (9) has his own room and the girls (4 & 2) share a room. Tonight, the wee one even fell asleep in sissy's bed with her.
