LOL!

Ok so this morning, Logan woke up a bunch last night, and so I was trying to stay in bed until Don got home, but Logan woke up at 5:30am (half hour before Don even gets off work, much less when he gets home). So I put him in his cosleeper and hoped he would play. He played for a few minutes, then decided he wanted to get on top of me. I played with him for a few minutes, and then he saw the cat at the foot of the bed. Off he goes to the foot of the bed starts playing with the cats fur... the cat jumps down... and SO DOES LOGAN. Right off the edge of the bed. I grab his foot so he doesn't go down on his face and let him down gently. He sits there for a few minutes, wrecking the coupon papers I had down there, picking up and putting down books, sucking on our cell phone charger chord. Then sees the cat in the hallway. And goes for it. Across our room, and out the door he goes, while I lay there in bed, watching him and calling him, trying to get him to come back. Wasn't happening. So I get up. Where do I find the monster? Down the hall, around the corner and in the bathroom pulling the rug over his head and laughing... in the dark. lol! He would sit for a minute, play with the rug, crawl around (the bathroom is tiny, so he was only crawling a few steps) then playing with the rug again. He sees me, comes out of the bathroom, down the hall (past me!) and into the livingroom. He goes over to his new (now completely unnecessary) exersaucer, pulls him self to standing up so he can get his crackers. I dump said crackers on the floor, and sit him back down, and as Don walks in the door Logan is sitting happily snacking on yesterdays crackers in the middle of the living room.

*sigh* He is 6 1/2 mos and 2 days old.

Ah...yes! Sounds like my Levi. I SWEAR his theme song is KISS's "I wanna rock and roll all night... And party every day!" The child would wake and wake and want to rock and rock and rock during the night, but never fails - in the morning when mama is tired and defeated, Levi is happy, energetic, and on-the-go!

Wait... am I typing this in PAST tense? Well, maybe... he's been sleeping almost through the night this week... I'm not getting my hopes up though.

Always an adventure!

Whew! Reagan is just reaching that point--she is about 2 weeks older than your little guy. Boy, can she move! This morning, she started climbing stairs. Yesterday, she was headed, at breakneck speed, for the top of the stairs (from the top). I can't lay her on my bed anymore because she's dived off of it twice. So...naps aren't going so well. She's nursing all night long--just got her first two teeth. She's also biting me quite often.:wah:

And if we think it's crazy now, let's just wait a couple months, eh?
