Please help me!

I have not been feeling too great, yet again. The weather has been weird for california summer and im sure that isnt helping.

I was thinking about doing a gnetle detox, maybe like a 2 or 3 day one?

what sort of not too invasive things are good for one?

inexpensive ideas are the best!

thank you!

drinking one of the following upon waking and then keeping your stomach free of anything else for 45 minutes:

juice of a lemon in a cup of hot water
6 oz of black currant juice mixed 50/50 with tepid water

doing a 12 hour fast each day - aka eat/drink other than water for only 12 hours (8 am to 8 pm, for example)

go raw (raw fruits, vegies, seeds, sprouted grains) for 3-4 days

When I detox, I get back to the very basics of what I KNOW I'm not allergic to: brown rice and vegetables. I also drink nothing but water and either green or herbal tea. I used to use Yogi's detox tea in addition, but off it for now b/c I'm TTC. (Black Cohash... bad for TTC). Then I make sure that I'm exercising - especially LOTS of stretching and yoga. That has the same affect on me as having a deep tissue massage - releasing stuff stored in your muscles.

A friend of mine with chronic fatigue syndrome went through an intensive therapy, part of which was a detox program. It was very gentle - similar to my basic diet and making sure you drink 2 cups of green tea made from full-leaf green tea - each day. So I was happy some kind of expert backed up my thinking on that one LOL!

Good Luck, Lala! I hope you get to feeling better soon. When I am able to do this kind of diet for 2 weeks straight, I become a whole new person! But that's because I've got so many food sensitivities...
