since one of my friends children killed my point and shoot, i havent been able to post but here i am (didja miss me?). i am still working on my "embroidering on knit fabrics without stabilizer" technique :) i really like it with stabilizer a lot better. maybe my request for the local joanns to carry it will actually work?

some more old navy shirts and handembroidery
kamama is the word the tsalagi (cherokee) use for butterfly - its also the same word used for elephant (having to do with ears). now the cherokee do not have the "m" letter in their language so its obviously a borrowed word - mostlikely they heard the word the sioux used for butterfly "kimimi" and adapted it. the butterfly is one that lyl drew and i copied.

andy said i should do some flowers on this one, and not being a fan of regular flowers i attempted to replicate the lavender i have. i still need more practice
