I started late last month so I would like to continue this month. I do need to buy a few items, but for the most part we are still doing good. I do reserve the right to stock up on anything that is a super good deal.
Anyone else?

A pantry challenge is eating only what you have in your house for the month (or however long) and only buying perishables (milk, fruits, and veggies).
Heck, yeah. Now, I did a OAMC thing with friends and have 19 meals left in the freezer, so I'd kinda be cheating. ;) I'll try to squeeze the rest of the dinners, lunches, and breakfasts out of the pantry as much as possible.
What I know I have: more wheat than anyone should be allowed to grind. 15 pounds of blueberries we just picked yesterday. A few pounds of blackberries leftover from our picking frenzy. Beans, beans, beans. Smartdogs, veggie burgers, actual meat dogs and burgers for DH. I think I can pull us through this month cheap after bleeding money in July.

i'm in! i made a list of dinners i have in the house: burrittos, lasagna, veggie chili (in freezer), pancakes and grits/oatmeal, roasted red pepper soup, lentils and rice, BLTs. so...that's not much. but i want to make everything stretch as long as possible. i probably have 2 breakfast dinners and 2 lentil and rice dinners...and leftovers with the burritto stuff and lasagna. and i want to be forced to make some things from scratch with what i already have in the pantry...like tortillas and muffins.

I would love to but my pantry is half empty as it is because dh changed jobs 9 weeks ago and it has been a hit to the wallet. So I am only buying the necessary each week.
