... right on the lens, and broke my 50mm lens. :( Thankfully it's not a pricey lens, right? I'll be replacing it as soon as I get home.

I was sooooo thankful that there was no damage to the camera. I was so nervous! I dropped it on a tile floor, too, so the potential for much more expensive damage was great.

Ack! Good thing it was only the lens.

I dropped my digital camera a couple years ago right on the telescoping lens (it was on at the time) and it was *busted*. I had to go buy a new one.

Fortunately, I hated the thing, so there was no love lost there. ;)

Oh no! That's one of my worst fears!! At least it was an inexpensive lens and there's no damage to the body!

yea...my very first photo shoot i dropped my camera on her tile floor and busted my lens. i wanted to THROW UP right then and there...but i played it cool and shot everything with the 50 mm lens i had.

I ordered my new lens, it should be here this week sometime. Yay!
