Does anyone use whiskey as a home remedy? Does it work for you? Tell me about it.

I know a couple of people who swear by a shot of whiskey for everything from a stomach bug to a rash to a cold.

I have no idea about this, but I had a music director who would recommend a shot of warm whiskey if we had any throat related problems during a performance time (we were all younger than 21 at the time of his recommendations).

I have found that s tiny sip of jagermeister helps sore throats feel better - but I haven't done that in about 8 years since my dh was my bf and had some in his freezer.

my dh thinks this too. but i have no facts or articles about it :) you should google it....
