I want to install a outdoor sink... for washing hands after the kids feed the chickens, or weeding, or whatever. I was thinking that I would just install it over the hose, and I could send the grey water right into the yard. Hmm...

I will just get an old sink from the re store down town and put it up on some cement blocks and block it in with wood from my dads garage. I won't buy a peice like this... but what do you think?

I think that's a great idea--I'm sure you could do it!

We have a tin bucket-type thing with a spigot on the bottom that I think we got from Smith and Hawken a long time ago. It's hanging on the fence and we just leave the top open and it fills with rain (or fill it up with the hose). The kids love washing their hands with it!
