How many is too many fruit flies in my worm composting bin? I have only had the bin going for a week and a half and it has alot of kitchen scraps in it in addition to the shredded cardboard bedding. I was told to keep the bedding
3-4 inches over the worms to keep the flies down, but I don't know if it is working. Also don't know where to put the bin where it will be cool enough because I don't want it in my garage with all the fruit flies. :help:
