My son participated in this one year. He took the list to the desk and she was horrible to him saying that he hadnt read those books and even laughed at him. She called him a liar and everything, right in front of everyone! We homeschool so I know he had. He used to have trouble reading at school as he is dyslexic, so for her to laugh at him really upset me.
Just go with them when you go to claim the books!!

that was horrible! did you lodge a complaint against her? I certainly would have. No customer should be treated that way let alone a child!

Yes I did, for what its worth. She just denied it, the girl with her looked very embarrased. I actually called the head manager, who was disgusted. She probably just got told not to do it again, didnt help my son feel any better though.

no it sure wouldn't but perhaps, she had been repremanded for others things in the past, and well, the odds are slowly stacking against her.
