2 years ago (at the beginning of 2nd grade), DS wanted to homeschool. Within 3 days of the start of school, he had decided he wanted to go to school, and we sent him. I had plans for 2nd grade cirriculum.
DS is saying he wants to be homeschooled now for 4th grade, and DS#2 will be in 1st grade. He is already reading on his own fairly well.
I am nervous to discuss this with DH because he is not really pro-homeschooling (but he did agree to this once before). And, my home is a wreck and totally disorganised at the moment. I am feeling more than ever like I can do this (once I get things together and implement some routines this summer before we actually start up for the school year).
I am thinking this is something I need to discuss with DH this weekend as there is a big used book sale at the homeschool building near us where I might be able to lay my hands on some stuff that we can use.
Anyway...just rambling, trying to get my head together. I need to go clean!
