I know I've read about it on here before.

Whitley can read well but now she is leaving out some words and sometimes has trouble with her tracking. I was wondering if this book might help.

oooh, I don't know what you're talking about, but I'm intrigued.

Peggy Kaye has some ideas in her "Games for Reading" book about improving visual skills used in tracking, etc.

Ethan's phonics skills are good, but this summer we're working on his tracking, (and not skipping words), as well as intonation, pausing appropriately at punctuation, etc. So it sounds like whatever you're referring to might be appropriate for him too.

Oh, I have that book, so I'll look in there, thanks!

YES! That is exactly what we are working on with Whitley. Her decoding skills are awesome for her age, but we are working on everything you mentioned too.

It's called "Pyramid"

It helped my older two with the tracking and building words from one syllable up... highly suggest it. :)

It's used along with Phonics Pathways. ;)

Oh!

Thanks!

Do you have to use Phonics Pathways at the same time? She's beyond the phonics in it.
