My dd2 (currently 5th grade) can't read cursive. We do journal writing and I'll often give her topics that I write at the top of the page. Usually I print but earlier this week I wrote the topic in cursive, very neatly I might add (not my fast chicken scratch). I don't mind her only writing in print, but she needs to be able to read cursive.

So I've decided I should probably add cursive to next year's curriculum. Does anyone have any suggestions? She previously learned D'Nealian and the school district here is now starting to teach Zaner-Bloser. I'm open to any style as long as the curriculum isn't too immature for my somewhat immature soon to be 11 yr old. HELP! :D

We use handwriting without tears. My then 10-11 year old did the cursive. It was pretty straight forward. I just asked if he liked it and if it was easy to understand and he said yes to both questions.
I use the handwriting without tears for my younger ds, also.
