These pics are from last November, but I thought I'd share since so many of you are now growing lettuce. Here in Florida I plant my lettuce around late Sept./early Oct. & it normally produces until the first really hot days in late March or so.

We eat a lot of lettuce in the winter & I give lots away to my mother & mil.

Its funny that I have cukes & soon tomatoes now, but no fresh lettuce for salads and just the opposite in the winter months.

WOW that is a lot of lettuce! this will be the first fall i've grown it, later this year. i planted in spring this year knowing it may not take due to the heat and it's pathetic :joker:

i'll be pulling it out to move some cukes over when i thin them later this week.
