Loved it :)

We all did.
We prepped by watching Spiderman 1 and 2 at home. We went Saturday morning 11am, no lines, no line for concessions either. Everyone loved it.
I won't do any spoilers, but Zoey and Chelsey cried at the end.

I think the director does a great job and I love that the movie teaches lessons and actually has some morals. That the hero is a normal person who fears, has guilt, makes mistakes...

Just really loving Spidey around here these days.

Did your DS see it, too?

DH went and saw it with a friend - he liked it but said it wasn't "the best of the trio" like they're calling it, lol.

Okay, gosh darnit..why did they cry?? Just a little too scary for little guys? Or something too sad for big kids like me?? :D I canNOT watch one of my favorite stories end bad!!! :p

Oh no - not scary crying! sad crying = I can't give it away tho - pm me if you really want to know.
Yes, Roman went - he got a bit bored in the middle and daddy took him to the restroom and to get some more popcorn but he only got bored when Spiderman isn't on the screen - kwim? When its Peter parker and they're doing relationship stuff its meaningless to a 3yo. He wants ACTION.
Hrm - best of the trio, I don't know - I will always think the first one was the best one probably. But this one had more grownup themes and I really did enjoy it.

Dang it dang it dang it....now I have to think about this one. :wah: Do I wanna know? Or do I suck it up and just watch?? Or do I wait two years, like I did with Braveheart, before I can deal with it?? Waaahhhhh....I LIKED Spiderman!!!!

DH went to a midnight showing on Thursday. He and DS (7) just got back. DS was still teary eyed from the ending!! He's not usually emotional about movies so I think it's interesting.

I don't know how to do one of those spoiler things but as I always tell Zoey - the main character who is a super hero is always ok :)

Yeah, I tell that to my kids, too, lol. But dh went and gave me a mini spoiler, and told me that something important happens in the strip, and that he has heard something similarly important happens in the movie (he doesn't know the movie details, so he couldn't tell me if it was the same...:( How's that for vague enough for no spoilers for others? :p )

Dang dang dang...I am such a happy ever after person....I don't like bad things in my fantasy world!! :wah: That's why I WATCH them!! :p

I liked it. I didn't think its the best of the trio, but I did like the 3rd. I liked the story and the situations and I laughed out loud at some parts. I've always liked the mythology behind spiderman. i think it was a very well done movie. Lots of action, lots of story. I took all of my boys to see it, and they fell asleep about half way through.

Only the first one was "magical" to me... the second one was good and the third one was not as good, but still ok and entertaining.

I liked it because I'm a big superhero fan but I can't help but laugh thinking of Toby Maguire as magical. I can't stand him as an actor.
