our new place has 2 patios I was thinking of trying to grow stuff but I mostly have a black thumb lol.

I want to grow things that we can actually use. maybe tomatoes, strawberries, and some herbs.

anything I should know about growing stuff in hot dry areas? we get a good amount of sun as well.
