Here is the first of my update threads. Remember that I am not a veteran at this as many of you are so I'm crazy excited right now that I haven't killed anything yet- my plants are 1 week old!!! :D
Here's a link to the original thread http://www.amitymama.com/vb/mamas-garden/338489-im-singing-dancing-sore-d.html
Still need to get the bark, plant more, ect ect ect but already I love this peaceful little place in my yard :)

Now as you turn around and go back through the yard to the other side of the house you pass this little nook that I'd like to turn into more of a bird sanctuary. I'd like to mount that bird house pagoda that my brother made my dd up higher so its used, plant some bird and butterfly friendly plants.

And then as you continue all the way to the other side of my house here is what my same brother has been constructing for the kids! There are a few more pieces for him to finish up today (like attatching the slide) and then we can start connecting the bark barrier boards and bring in a truckload of that stuff.

And the view from my kitchen window-

Thanks for looking!
