I really like how this came out, even with the flaws that I seem to always find when I make quilts. It's for a friend's nephew's 1st birthday. Thanks to all of you who joined the dog quilt square swap - it really helped me get a bigger variety of fabrics!

I actually have a yard left over of that print (not the coordinating print with the words on it, but the yellow background with just dogs). I got it from Foothill Fabric (http://www.foothillfabric.com), but I don't see it there any more. Want to trade? :)

Oh, maybe eQuilters still has it then - I knew someone else sent in that fabric too - that's why I have a yard over. :o I was thinking I could use it as a backing fabric on another doggy quilt. :)

The binding is awesome and just makes the quilt that much cuter. Where did you get the fabric for it? I'm still putting K's together. We've all been sick here and passing it back and forth, so my sewing time isn't as much as I would have liked.

The binding fabric is from Joann's in the black-and-white calico section. 40% off when I went on Thursday. There's some brown in the pawprints, but mostly it's just b&w. I really like how it goes with both quilt-top and backing.

BTW, Michelle, I'm almost out of the patternese (I think that's what it was) that you traded me some time ago. Is that something I can get at Joann's, or maybe I can buy some more from you? It's been really helpful with the clothing patterns.

I'm going to see if I can get some of that pawprint fabric once the stash game is over. I haven't done enough sewing, and I can't afford to have negative points right now :lol:

You *can* get it at Joann's--I think it's about $1.98/yd or so. I used to buy mine when the interfacing is on sale for 50% off. I do have some on hand if you want buy/trade from/with me. :)
