I've had this scrap of sock monkey flannel sitting in my sewing desk's bottom drawer for literally years. This is apparently the project it needed to be. :)

It was going to be for sale to help finance my trip to New Mexico, but I messed up on the neckline and its just not up to standard. I love it though, so unfortunatley (:p) it will have to stay at my house and we'll keep hoping for that boy dh really wants this kiddo to be :D

Its the curved baby raglan and pant set from Ottobre 1/2006. Organic bamboo velour top mixed with the flannel, and a lovely soft orange cord with more monkey accent on the pants.

How cute is that? It looks perfect to me, but it's a great excuse to have it hang around a bit while you hope for a boy.

It's adorable, and imnsho it could be used for either a boy or a girl!

What size is that set mama??

Its a 68cm (about 6 months,) but it is going nowhere. My dh actually likes it and that's rare, especially with something I like :p Since its my kid, 6m should fit within a couple of weeks of birth rofl.

I love the style, since the kiddo is due in Sept. I'm thinking I'm going to make several others from my bamboo velour hoard and stash them since I finally sewed something for baby and both Gandhi and I like it. The only thing I've purchased so far is also bamboo velour, so apparently I have a subconscious belief the kid is going to be a panda

 There you go - I am off to search names for baby pandas :)
I was just thinking that it would be good for a girl too - so I would definitely keep it for the new wee one - especially since it got that wonderful dh of yours approval :D

I think you are summoning a boy, honestly :D However, I agree that it's neutral and can be worn by either. The beauty of little girls is they can wear anything.

It's adorable..if I weren't done having babies I would need a set like that :D
