This fabric hardly even had time to sit in my stash. It never even made it to my closet. I bought it the day before the stash game and I knew it would be one of the first things I made. Excuse these pictures, my goofy girl insisted that the pictures would be the best if she "jumped, and jumped, and jumped UP and DOWN!!!!"

I had an idea to add coordinating tags from my scraps so that she can look at the tag and know what it matches. I am going to do that woth all her clothes from now on, because I swear, tomorrow she would have come down in the red and white polka dots I made her for Easter and thse yellow dotted pants. The very thought causes me to shudder.

I will edit with stash game points because I have to run all the way up the stairs to find out my yardage:)
pants:
7/8 yard: 7 points
elastic: 1 point
scrap tag: 1 point
SNS: 2 points
shirt:
3/4 yard: 6 points
elastic: 1 point
scrap tag: 1 point
SNS: 2 points

TOTAL: 21 points

neat. What did you do on that shirt hem. It looks like just a zig zag but fancy. Very cool treatment.

I'm  about matching. I've totally given up on DD matching except on very rare occasions.

AWWW!! My dd doesn't want to match. Well, until very recently (like this week) she has never even said the word "match" in the fashion context.

Thank you everyone. The kind comments made my day.

Chole, the zigzag stich is one of the only decorative stitches that my machine does. It does that one and a honeycomb one as well as one that looks like scribbles? Basicaly it is just a really thick zigzag and it makes it look like it was done with embroidery thread. I had never used it before and thought maybe it would be cool. It turned out perfectly and I am really glad I used it. It is too hard to see in the picture, but the fabric was a bit thin for the stich and it folded over a bit. I was actually happy about it because it gives an appearnace of a little pin tuck.

I love this! The fabric is sooooo summery and bright but not like overly obnoxious bright, KWIM?
And your dd is adorable!

Very Nice!

I always put a tag in the back of all DDs clothes so she can dress herself. I made tags from a tutorial on Craftster and iron them to ribbon.
