Lisa/Lasagefeme (I hope I spelled that right) sent me a set of tomato seeds that I didn't plant last year. This time I am early enough that I planted a bunch in egg cartons to germinate along with three plants of pumpkins, and two kinds of peppers.

I am PLANTING! *GLEE* :D

I am going to plant (as soon as it stops raining) the three kinds of lettuce I have seeds of, some more cilantro, peas, radishes, sunflowers, money plants, chinese lanterns, and I need to transplant some more rasberry starts that are coming up everywhere in my garden. lol....

I planted seeds a couple of weeks ago. I won't be able to put them in the garden for a few weeks, though. I planted tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, spinach, cilantro, basil, oregano and chives.

i have already harvested lettuce and spinach. we had salad last night!!!

i planted some other seeds, in the ground, 2 weeks ago. forgot to cover during the big freeze and lost some stuff.... live and learn and cover before going camping.

I only have a tiny space of sun in our yard that I can garden in!! So I thought the early and late crops would be best for me and so far are working out. The slugs have not touched my lettuce and the wild bunnies haven't bothered it either. That could be because of the cats!!

I didn't plant anything in doors because it frosted last week. lol... So I thought I should wait until I knew that the frost time was over, so as I am hardening them off I don't kill them becuase it is so cold.

I need to build a cold frame. I am thinking I may with an old window from my dads and some cinder blocks. I am buying a bunch of cinder blocks for the worm house anyway. A cold frame would be a good addition to my garden. :D

Ya know, I started my cukes indoors and that is what I lost because I was stupid and planted them before the last frost date for TN. STUPID!! I will live and learn.. my new mantra:o dh is gonna build us a cold frame this year.
