My new nephew! He's the first baby born to one of my sisters since I have had children... and became a doula. I didn't think I would actually get to attend her birth - but she called Sat morning in labor, so I took off about 5 minutes later. It was a 4 hour car ride- and she was entering transition once I got there. It's hard to doula someone you love and so much sweeter when they really work hard and get teh birth they wanted. I am so proud of her... she DID IT! :) But I was so glad I was there. I hereby officially have baby lust. He's such a SWEETIE! He was 8#3oz, 20" long. Her first baby. :D

Anyone have a daughter/friend/sister around 25-30 that is single with a decent background, no drugs, and christian?? I would love to have my own neices and nephews!! We aren't even close to dh's :(

Oh yeah, and she has to live around here....if they are too far off I wouldn't get to see all the kiddos!! haha

He is super cuddly. His hair is super fuzzy, and his skin is still too big for his skull. I love that feeling... soft fuzzy baby head.

She broke a TON of capilaries in her face and shoulders. It looks like she has acne really bad. But I altered the picture to black and white and you can't even tell. ;) She was afraid the pictures would all be bad. I like the b/w.

Awwwwwwww - he is so precious - I did that too - when I looked in the mirror I was like - why am I so broken out and then realized it was blood vessels all the way down to all over my chest - sh said - well honey, whenever i looked at y ou while you were pushing you were purple :lol:

Yeah, that would do it! My sister actually got most of them from trying to throw up during transition. She purple pushed a couple of times, but between the doctor and myself, we convinced her she better NOT push that way. She figured it out quickly. ;) She got them worse than this before just by throwing up.
