Does anyone know why used cloth baby diapers are a banned item on ebay? I recently had a listing for diapers removed because it violated ebay policy, but there are still tons of listings for the same type items. I e-mailed ebay about this and they said the only way they know of violations is if another user reports them. I don't understand why someone reported my listing but not all of the others. Anyone know the answer? I'm confused.

You aren't the only one.
I've had 2 pulled.
Seems some are getting thru, but most are being pulled.

Here is a petition (http://www.petitiononline.com/clothdpr/petition.html)to stop the ban of cloth diapers on ebay...........

Hello. I just signed the petition. I hope it helps. I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I received that removed listing alert. Thank you.:)

Hi mommy2gunner,

I was selling 12 used fuzzi bunz on ebay also and it was pulled yesterday. I was told too that someone basically reported me....I guess some people don't have a life. I looked and there were over 25 listings selling USED fuzzi bunz just under fuzzi bunz (not including other diapers they have out there.) I am really starting to hate ebay. Now where am I suppose to sell these diapers. I will be signing that petition.

I wonder if the person reporting is someone who has dipes listed. Maybe they are trying to clear out the competition.....

I don't know why ebay changed their policy, but a lot of used diaper sales are getting pulled because I have been trying to buy used and the listing keep disappearing! I am going to get in trouble b/c I have been emailing sellers and asking them to sell to me off auction (but I certainly haven't turned anyone in and I can't believe anyone would do that!!).

What were you trying to sell b/c I might be interested.

I had kushies and bumkins both pulled, so it's not just fuzzi bunz. I found a place called buzz shops that is an online auction. They totally allow the selling of used diapers, and you don't have to pay to list there. I have several listings there and have given up on ebay altogether. buzzshops.com/auction (sorry I'm not yet allowed to post urls) Just sign up and sell or shop; it's great.:usaribbon

I'm not sure why ebay pulled your listing. I thought they were supposed to tell you why it was a violation???

Did you use a trademarked material? (were they handmade?)

The selling of used cloth baby diapers is against ebay policy. They do not allow the sell of used underwear and they consider these diapers in that category. I can't understand why there are companies who make this their business (diaper services), yet ebay finds it a health risk.

I just had a listing pulled yesterday, so I listed them on a couple Yahoo groups and they were all gone within a couple hours. It is really frustrating that some auctions go un-noticed and others are yanked! I think I'll skip ebay from now on when buying or selling diapers...
