It's a Cranston VIP print. My local WalMart doesn't have it now that I need more. It's a bright block print (as opposed to pastels) the block/checks are small, around 1/4". I took a picture but have not been able to find my cable yet to get it off the camera.

I'm making more alphabet squares for Andrew's Head Start class room (and the neighboring one) And have made it about 2/3 of the way through the borders and then realized I wasn't even close to having enough fabric.

I'm still verrrrry new to quilting and pretty much suck at yardage/measurements.

Ugggh! Ended up scanning the pieces so they look awful, but at least you can see the print I need.

You need just the checkered print? I'm hitting 2 wm's in town today and I'll look for you. How much do you think you'll need? How much of the quilt do you have finished - how much more until it's finished size? Better to have too much, right? :D
I'm also going to JoAnn and Hancock so I'll keep an eye out there too. If I find it, I'll just get 2-3 yds, ok?

I think I only need 1 yard tops.... just doing the borders in it..... like these...

I found something similar, it was a Cranston fabric, but the colors didn't look right - there was no white in it, all color blocks. Right size though.... we're going across town tomorrow so I'll see if I can't poke my head in there too :)

I think I know the print you are talking about, it's more of a light orangeish/tan looking block print.... thats the only one my local WalMart has now too. :(

I found my camera cable so I'm going to get a better picture shortly.

Yeah... I had wanted to get these done over xmas break and in the classrooms Jan 3rd since I had stalled so long getting to them. :rolleyes:

I was finally on a roll getting them done and now it comes to a screeching halt because I can't measure and think "that looks like plenty" :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Sooooooo.... my new personal deadline is ASAFP before the school year is out in mid May.

I have a quilt sort of in my head now that I'm going to have to post about here... with measurements of what pieces I have and what I want to do with it blah blah blah. I don't want to be short again... my judgement sucks and I'm clueless with measuring for it yet.

I checked mine here and they have nothing like it either :( I hope someone finds it for you! Did you ask them about ordering it? My lady here said unless it was a clearance fabric they should be able to reorder it for you. Hope that helps!
