Anybody have some cool wovens lying around that are just begging to be sewn into a king-sized pillowcase for a little boy who spends far too much time in the hospital? :)
Hank's on his way back into the hospital. They always bring their own pillows and cases. A while back the sewing moms sewed pillowcases for another sick little one. I'm asking that we do it again.

Sew a pillowcase and ship it off - quick and easy - and it will bring a smile to Hank and his mom.

Here are the dimensions I found from 1 site

FINISHED SIZE: Standard Case: 21" x 32"; Queen: 21" x 36";
King Case: 21" x 42"

These will cover pillows nicely, with plenty of room. We are assuming the following pillow measurements:
Standard: 20" x 26"; Queen: 20" x 30"; King: 20" x 36"

The only boy fabric I have is one with constuction vehicles on it. I hope this will be ok.

Having 3 girls, "boy" fabric is a bit sparse here. LOL.

I'm in the same boat - not much "boy" fabric here, but I found some yellow flannel with firetrucks and squad cars (surprise!) With a blue accent, I think it will be boyish enough. :)
