I subscribed, but haven't tried anything yet. I'm so confused on the sizing. When I measure they're measurements are all over the chart. They don't fit into one size. I just don't know where to start when trying to piece their size together. Does this even make sense. My DS is 2 --he is thinner, and when I measure hits 3 different sizes based on the individual measurements.

Any tips? How do the sizes relate to "our" sizing?

I'm just not sure where to begin, and I really want to begin, LOL!!
Thanks, Carey

The patterns tend to run on the slightly skinny and short side, in my experience.

For picking the size to make, pick the most relevant measurement to the garment you are making, ie, pants, go by waist measurement, and lengthen or shorten as needed, or shirt or dress, go by chest measurement, and lengthen or shorten as needed.

There are also charts available, matching up Ottobre sizes with standard US RTW sizes. I think the Yahoo Ottobre_English group has them, and maybe Sewingmama.com. I don't have them handy, or I would post them myself.

Thanks!
That's kind of what I thought and had heard, so I'll give it a try!
