Ok, this looks like the most dull item in the world but it is actually really important for one reason....
the entire thing
is sewn
BY HAND!
seen here on my Duct Tape Double "Sticky" with my yellow petticoat & stays.

The pleats, hems & waist band, all by hand. I actually did it all while my DD played at the McD playland one day. Talk about a working lunch.
Otherwise it's a rather dull apron made out of what ever size scrap of 5oz linen looked "about right" and a left over piece of the duct linen tape I used on my stays & other petticoats.
Now I just need to wear it while cooking so it's not so neat & clean looking & actually starts to look like a real apron!
