Early Education teacher for District #6.
I create and implement a developmentally appropriate early education program for children ages 3-5 years old. I'm the first contact that most parents have with our school district and am the first teacher of nearly all of my students. (beyond mom/dad as teachers) I love, guide, and teach. I am a partner with the parents to provide the best first educational experience for their little ones.
I had a link posted to the district, but it looks like it has not been updated for two years. :hahaha:

I teach public high school, grades 9-12. Three classes of regular technology education and then 2 courses from Project Lead The Way (Digital Electronics and Computer Integrated Manufacturing). This is my first year.
I'm working on my Master's and would like to just hurry up and get it finished.
Technically, I still wait tables at Pizza Hut. Although, I have not been there in a little over a month. I love that job, but it's hard to work it into my current lifestyle.

i work part-time. i'm a labor and postpartum doula (certified through DONA international) and a maternity/birth/child photographer (fairly recently added this although i've been a photography bug since i was 16...trying to decide the next step to "legitimize" my company, i have an EIN already but am trying to work out the kinks of sole prop vs LLC and then long-range maybe some small business financing to really really market it and get some higher end equipment-computer and camera...just researching all that though.)
i can take up to 4 doula clients a month although that works out IRL lately to 1 a month or less (but it's picking up) and i've had 2-3 photo clients a week for over a month but not since xmas and i can see that the next month will be a little slower.
also, i start on jan 9 teaching 2 classes (once a week) at the local homeschool center to kids ages 3-9 (different classes)

I'm a clinical psychologist. I have my own private practice and I work two days/week. I love what I do and could not think of anything else on earth I'd rather do for a paid profession. Truthfully, if I could no longer work as a shrink or if I could still work as a shrink but had to work for someone else, I'd quit paid employment all together. I love working when I want to and I love being my own boss.

I am a teacher.
I direct my own preschool program for ages 2-5 and a school age program for 5-7 year olds. I do that four days a week.
The fifth day, I teach elsewhere. I just finished working in a two year old program at a large teaching center (where ECD students do their labs) and now am going to spend that fifth day working at the local elementary school substituting for grades k-5.

I am a business manager for an early intervention program that is based in CA. We are all home based. I run the business portion of the company and the owner handles the actual therapy portion.
I am also a car seat tech at a local hospital. I am part of the mother/baby discharge. Until this week, I was working 3 days a week. Our funds have been cut, so I have been cut back to 1 day.

but I just started my new job today. I am still working for the State of (where I live) but in a different department. So, now my job title is Regulations Specialist I. I work for the Dept. of Environmental Conservation in the Drinking Water program. I basically work on revising/writing regulations for our state and work closely with the EPA on new regs. I also do some training for our program. I am excited about my new job and anticipate that it will fufill me in a way that my other jobs haven't (my education is very inline with this job).

I'm a "Team Lead" at a Petco. I'm also a certified reptile and aquatics specialist.
Basically, I'm an assistant manager without the pay. I close the store 3 nights per week (counting down all registers, daily bank deposits, etc.) I am the "manager on duty" any time I'm there. I also do a good portion of the animal care.
I recently went through a training session so that I'm now a certified "district trainer" which means I'm able to hold training sessions for all new employees.
I was full time but as of Jan. 1st I cut my hours in half and am only working 3 nights per week.
I love my job but it got to be too much juggling work and home so I had to make a choice.
I'm sure there's other stuff that I'm forgetting but I'm sure you all get the idea.

I am a speech-language pathologist
I currently work in a rehab/long term care center with the geriatric population and I evaluate, diagnose and treat speech, language and swallowing disorders. I work with usually 3-4 patients at a time and share the job with another slp which means I only work 4-10 hours a week. I used to contract myself to the schools system and worked with developmentally delayed preschoolers...evaluate, diagnose, treat...yadda, yadda, yadda. I'd like to go back and do that again some day.

I'm a California Studio Teacher/Welfare worker.
Use to teach HS but now work in entertainment/advertising. I'm non-union so I have not worked on anything 'big'. My responsibilities include: enforcing California Ed Code as it applies to kids in entertainment, enforcing CA child labor laws, and looking out for the general welfare of children. I usually work 2-4 days a week and I never know where I am going. I just get a call/email that goes something like this:
'XYZ production company is shooting a print ad/commercial/ect. in Culver city tomorrow morning. They have 3 kids 6-8 and you will have a 7am call time. Want it??'
