I've been having problems with a pinched nerve, so I started seeing a local chiropractor. I wanted to see his wife who is also in the practice, but she was out of town for awhile, so I went with him. He's helped me a LOT, but a few weeks ago I had an "emergency" and his wife was the only one immediately available. She is a NET Practitioner and it is AMAZING. I'm going to start seeing her in the new year specifically for NET therapy. Anyway, here's the story:

The week before Thanksgiving, my back started hurting so badly that I could barely walk. It was agonizing to get in and out of the car, or to roll over in bed, etc. etc. So I saw Jan. While she worked on me, she talked. She put her hand on the pain and said it indicated that I wasn't feeling supported and so on. And as she worked, she talked. I kept insisting that there was NOTHING that I had done to my back and didn't know why I was in so much pain. Then she started telling me that I was really young to have had a hyst and so as I responded to her questions, I realized -- It was the anniversary of my hyst! I told her, "I totally forgot until now," and she replied, "Your body remembered." And she gave me some homeopathic drops to take throughout the day and I improved drastically right away, and then a little better at a time.

ANYWAY, here's a link to read about NET (http://www.netmindbody.com/index_2.html) and see if you have any local practitioners. Jan has also been working on my daughter and it has made the biggest difference! I had just started believing that Belle was a cranky kid. Period. After she started going to Jan, she was almost hyperactive for a week or so -- Jan told me that was a normal part of the detox process while the body worked out new ways for itself. NOW I can't believe I waited so long. Belle LOVES Dr. Jan and she is TRULY a new kid.

I promise this isn't an advertisement! :D Just wanted to share what I found.
