Hello.
My name is Jill Asher and I am the co-founder of Silicon Valley Moms Blog - Silicon Valley Moms Blog (http://www.svmoms.com)

We have decided to create a sister site in NYC and are looking for NYC Moms or Grandmoms who would like to join us on this new venture.

The link to the NEW - NYC Moms Blog is NYC Moms (http://svmomblog.typepad.com/nyc_moms/)

Here is what we are looking for:

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of NEW YORK CITY MOMS BLOG, a sister site to Silicon Valley Moms Blog.

NYC Moms: If you're interested in joining this collaborative blog, let us know! If you've never blogged before, we'll help you get started. If you've already got your own blog, collaborative blogging will drive traffic to your site.

To be considered as one of our initial group of contributors, you must:

Reside in New York City, which can include the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens or Staten Island.

Be a mother or grandmother

Love to write and be willing share your HONEST experiences about being a parent in New York City. If you've got a perfect life, tell your mother, your sister, or your best friend; if you're struggling to do the best you can, can laugh at your mistakes, rant about your disasters, or cry about your tragedies, we want to hear from you. Tell us about your view of the world through the eyes of a city mom; let the vanpoolers of the world know about subways and taxis and kids who push all the buttons on elevators.

What's in it for you? If you don't have a blog, it's an easy way to experience blogging, no tech hassles, no hosting fees, and no pressure; you don't have to blog every day, just when inspired, as long as you're inspired at least twice a month. If you have a blog, you'll find new readers, ideas, and companionship as part of a group blog.

To apply, email info@svmoms.com . Please submit two writing samples as potential posts. Also, please let us know if you have an existing blog.
