Details of swap:

6.5" squares - UNWASHED FABRICS, PLEASE! I want mine to pucker when it's washed a tad for that Pottery Barn feel. :) (I mean, if you've already washed them, no big deal - but I'd love to have crisp new squares of unwashed fabric, if possible) :)

How sweet it is to be loved by you - hearts, valentines, conversation hearts, candy, chocolates, roses, red/pink prints, etc. Smaller prints usually work better than large scale unless they are "fussy cut" (to borrow Margaret's term) :) :hbeat: :heart: :hbeat: :heart: :hbeat: :heart:

Say - would flannel work for this swap? I'm doing a quilt right now with a mix of wovens and flannel. It's turning out really nice.
I know I have 3 appropriate patterns in my regular woven stash, I also have 2 or 3 in flannel. :)

I would like two spots.

I have all my quilt squares, and they are doubley checked, nice and square and not washed ;-)

How does this work if there's only a few of us? Do I still send in my 30 squares?

Should we just divide the squares evenly instead?

I'm waiting on two more packages and I'll turn them around immediately so we can do *something* in time for V Day :)

Now - anyone want to help on how to divvy them up? Basically each person will get back the number they sent in, right? (I haven't done this yet - but I know it's been an issue in other swaps)) :)

Yep - each person gets back the same number they sent in. For a small group like this, make a pile for each set (ie, I sent in 4 sets, so there will be 4 piles with my name) and mark them with the name of the recipient. The easiest way to do it is "deal" the squares just like cards - start with the first fabric, put one in each pile, repeat until done, then start with the next fabric, and so on.
I always count at the end and make sure that each set has 30 and each person is getting back the number of sets she sent it.
