This year we bought our house and kind of did nothing but let the yard overgrow. But, we have a huge area we can plant for food with 3 garden beds we didn't even use this year.

While the weather is still decent here I would like to measure my gardens and plan over the winter.

I would like to know what catalogs you get and what books you just can't live without.

I have on my list so far the books by Eliott Coleman.

For catalogs
Seed Savers (http://www.seedsaversexchange.org)
Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds - 1000 Heirloom Garden Seeds in our Heritage Seed Catalog, Historic Gardening Shows and Plant Festivals (http://www.rareseeds.com)

These are GREAT suppliers of heirloom seeds!12

For Books:
Seed to Seed by Suzanne Ashworth- This gives you detailed guide on how to save seeds for virtually all types of veggies. I HIGHLY recommend it!!

Hope this helps!
