Ooooookay then. Guess I'll be making my own bags and keeping them!

Is it me? My timing? My last few hosted swaps have had dismal results. I'm beginning to think I smell bad or something. :(

You smell fine to me. I would love to participate but I have no access to my machine...

I didn't even see this post until now - how did I miss it?! Want to swap with me, Amy? I have tons of cloth with gingerbread men on it, and was planning on making the smallest-sized bags there - 6x9? I don't know how many, though -- however many I can make in that time, I guess. I can start sewing tomorrow. :D

Sure Margaret, I would love to! :) I'm also willing to extend the date if anyone else wants to join us.

I have lots of holiday and winter fabric and was planning to use mostly cloth for gift wrap this year.

OK, then, I will try to start on these tomorrow. Maybe I'll even get to cutting some out tonight. :)

I got excited about doing these and made one sample tonight to make sure I was getting the sizing right. Do you want the tie to be like a drawstring inside a casing, or do you prefer a piece of ribbon tacked to the outside an inch or so down so you tie it off on the outside?

How about it, Amy? drawstring or outside-ribbon? I'm leaning towards the outside-ribbon, but was hoping for your input. I've got about 20 of these in the making & need to finish them off - may go to the larger sizes next (those would definitely be outside-ribbon).
:)

Sorry, my comuter has been down and I've been checking at the library. It's finally fixed now!!!

It's totally up to you Margaret, if the ribbon is easier please do that!

I guess it is just you and me doing this, so how many are you wanting to swap?
