I talked to Liba the other day and she told me that she only pumps like 4 times a day- so I started doing that over the last 24 hours. I pump only every 5 to 6 hours instead of the every 3 hours like I was doing. I was able to pump 6 ozs this last time. That will be enough for two feedings plus it went really fast. Now that is a pumping schedule I can handle. I'm also not going to let myself feel quilty if I have to give an occasional bottle of formula- but I haven't had to yet. I'm taking it just week by week, or more like day to day, telling myself that every day is one more day better, even if the breastmilk is coming from a bottle, it's still breastmilk.

I am glad it is working for you! I hope it continues to work well. Some people can get away with four times a day long term. If your supply drops or his needs increase hopefully things will be a little calmer and adding another pump won't be as stressful. I am really hoping you will have your little one nursing soon though. It would be so nice for the two of you!
