so for the last week, for some reason, i have been having a huge problem with the fact that i can't have any more bebes. i have been crying everytime i saw a bebe on tv, irl, etc. i think it's because sarah turned 2, lyl turned 5, máire turns 11 in a couple of months and now would be the time that i started trying to get pg again. maybe...anyway...

i went to a birthday party for one of my friends older kids and she had her twin boys (5 months old) and i held one of them the entire time i was there. they both went to sleep in my arms and i got to make them laugh and smile. it was heaven. i got my bebe fix. although seeing my husband holding them did make me just want to cry my eyes out. at least i know i can hold my friends wee ones :)

i seriously wish we were financially set enough to adopt. fostering would even work if i wasnt so opposed to vaccination and government schools lol

anyway. do you mamas ever get the bebe lust and how do you assuage it?

putting in pictures of andy with one of twins and then one of my friends husband and my husband with both of the twins. :)

Those pix are precious.
As for the fix, I am getting mine knowing that dd is having her bae i about 3 months. Another reason why I feel this urgency to move closer to her I suppose...I want to help, be there for them and also experience the changes.
Smell baby skin adn feel te soft rolls of breastfed babe fat layers....

i get total baby lust. one of my girliefriends at school is 6 mos pregnant and she's gonna let me do some of my doula certification work for her after her wee one is here. actually, that's exactly how I plan to assuage my babylust -by being a postpartum doula. I can't have anymore of my own, and it really hurts sometimes - like I physically ache. I just have to remember that I'm too old for that now- my hips can't take it, my sanity can't take it, and I'm really digging getting 8 hrs of uninterruped sleep most nights. Besides, my uterus would probably fall out if I had any more kids
I feel for ya, really truly I do.
