an idot! He makes doing my job difficult. He doesn't know what he is talking about, but wont admit it and just spouts cr@p. He is just useless. The people we work with here dislike him too. Won't somebody get a clue and get rid of him?
rant over for now
have you or anyone else sent an anonymous email/note/call to his supervisor? maybe they don't know? ((hugs)) i'm sorry, that stinks

I have. A little history, when I started this job our manager G told me to keep J (my direct supervisor) out of the work. I have gone back to G a number of times in the past 6 years with issue and G just tells me things like 'go around him', 'keep him out of the projects' and G will have meetings with me without J.
Bottom line nothing gets done.
I have recently been thinking of doing a 'skip level' meeting with our Vice president D who is all our boss, but in talking to her admin. who is very savy and in tune, I don't think I will do that. We are supposed to have a survey to do here shortly on our moral and the admin suggested I use that. It is anonymous, but I am still a little concerned J only supervises 2 people. And right now the other person is assigned on other things so it is only me. Easy to figure out who said it even if it is anonymous.

That must be so hard. I have always been real lucky with supervisors but dh has not so awful ones. It really sucks when you aren't in a position to find something else.

Oh, that's a rough situation. Hopefully some intervention will come your way!
