So, how did you interpret the ending?

I thought it was a pretty good movie, a little gory at moments but overall pretty good.

I thought this movie was done very well.. I had some issues with the ending but my boyfriend (the obsessive gamer who has played all of the games and read about them extensively) explained it to me as "once you enter(really enter) silent hill --you remain in silent hill" & "silent hill chooses who it lets in"..how did you take it?
