This fun swap will be for pincushions! You will be organized into a group of 5, making 4 pincushions to send to swap hostess. You will get 4 in return (not including your own).

There is no theme, but please no holiday/cartoon character/political pincushions ;)

There is no size limit, or 'price' range for this swap. Please make something you'd ADORE to get in your own package! :D There are some beautiful pincushions out there, and I think this could really be a creative opportunity for us sewing mamas :D And practical to boot :p

Oh, and I wanted to add that I kept the groups smaller for the same reason the needlebook swap was, because you don't really *need* 8 or 9 pincushions lol, but if anyone wants to be in more than one group, you are more than welcome to sign up for two groups :D

I'm sorry ladies. Until I get my crumby shipping habits changed and start to get things consistantly out on time I am not allowing myself to swap. I don't think it is fair to others to have to constantly wait on me. Most of you are so very considerate and patient about dealing with me, but I'm tried of being "well, oh yeah, Hastings :rolleyes: " and having to deal with the sick feeling, stomache swirling guilt feeling I get from knowing I am in the wrong. I love pincushions and wish, wish, wish I could trust myself to join. Have fun :)

I feel horrible about this, but since DH got laid off, we have to move back to Washington and I won't be sewing for a while. I am going to have to drop out. So sorry if this screws anyone up! :( aw man, I soo wanted to make pincushions too. :p

OK, I talked to DH and my sewing machine and fabric is leaving tonight on the truck (I am not, just most our stuff) so if I can get them finished today, I will still do it. So let me update tonight on how I did, ok? :p

Guys,

Does anyone have a real opposition to using the plastic pellets to weight my pincushions? Due to the size and shape of mine (watch for a SnS later tonight), I don't think that stuffing them will make them heavy enough to actually be used -- does that make sense?

Let me know if it would be okay to use those plastic pellets (like in beanie babies) for your pincushions. They are so darn cute!

Just bumping this up and letting you all know that I got all the pincushions :D The last of them arrived while we were gone. I will get them divided and ready to ship, with shipping rates posted on Monday :D You gals did a great job :D
