We want to get one for Lily for chirstmas and honestly I am not liking the ones I've found. I want a plain woodedn one, no paint. It's like Mission Impossible :vent: Oh wait, I shouldn't say that because I can find one I like - I just don't want to spend close to $300 for it.
I contacted Dina (CierraJadeDesigns) but the responses I am getting are all blank. Then again, I feel guilty that I would buy something for Lily that I am perfectly capable of making myself in just a few hours, especially after making the treehouse for Maya. UGH! Parenting is tough and Christmas shopping is tougher.

Here are some I found (I might have to get this first one for a bendy nativity!):
PADiLLY.com - the online toy store for wooden toys, puzzles, baby toys and more. (http://www.padilly.com/woodenstable.html)
Ryans Room Wooden Stable for Two by Small World Toys - Farm Goods For Kids - Kids Toy Store & Child Costumes (http://www.farmgoodsforkids.com/c5005-ryans-room-wooden-stable-for-two.html)
Out of the Toy Box Groton Wooden Travel Stable Toy with Corral for Horses by Maxim (http://www.outofthetoybox.com/c=A6yhn3guBVWOIemL0bNiF3MeE/product/MAX81011)
Hope that helps!

Thanks Lori! I was leaning toward the first one but think it will be too small. I want to make her some animals (or if Dannielle and Katie EVER STOCK AGAIN) buy some and I think they wouldn't fit.
I am leaning toward building it now. I saw one on eBay that is really very simple to make and I can modify for Lily. Plus, we have a GC for Home Depot that would pay for the wood

How do you make your wood working patterns?

It depends on what i am making. For the treehouse levels I used cardboard, drew some kind of shap and then tried it on the tree until everything fit correctly.
For the barn I will draw it to scale first and then create the pattern on posterboard. I use what i have on hand.

Thanks. We have a lot of things from Sherrie but I need something to stand up to a toddler. I already bought the wood to build a barn anyway and ordered some chickens from Selena. I hope this turns out well!
