Do I need help? I have spent far too much time making bedding today for this gnome house. Pillows, blankets, mattresses - what more could a gnome need really. Oh, except a light. I was informed that the room with the door at the base of the tree is dark and it needs a light. I'll get right on wiring this house for lighting  I see a trip to the dollhouse section of AC Moore in my future :vent:
Sorry the pictures are dark. It's nasty out today and I can't get good shots. I still need to finish the blankets for the bunkbeds - gnomes on yellow. and I will have you know that Maya's bedding is the gnomes on blue - or will be next week when my Gram comes down to help me.

 Kitty just fell off the bed so Maya came to me and said it needed some arnica. I may pee my pants laughing. She even had me hold the cat while she fed it!

No I don't think you're nuts. I think those are adorable and I wish I had spent my day doing something like that.

well, I'm not one to ask as I departed from rational thinking long ago. But it seems to me that you had no choice in the matter. The fabric made you do it.

No you are not crazy you are AWESOME!! I love that mushroom fabric. I think I saw some on sewzannes? Shoulda got some to copy you :).
That is awesome about the kitty and arnica!! Whenever I mention arnica (or just about any kind of treatment: including bandaids) to my children, they freak. I don't know why but they would rather tough it out!!

I just wanted to clear to the newer people that I didn't make the furniture. Those I had custom made last year by Sherrie and they are finally getting some use. You can be jealous of the bunkbeds though because she HATED making them and I am pretty sure I have the only set.

Well, I am glad to hear that it was a PITB to make the furniture cause I was getting enabled to try some (like I have time)!!

Onlt the bunkbed was an issue. the other stuff I assume wasn't hard but she messed up a few bunkbeds. The chairs were sutoms as well. Or was it the couch? I think it was the little chairs because she ended up sending me a "test" chair that she didn't like.
While at AC Moore today, looking for lighting options (I am trying to figure out how to electrify the whole tree and have little outlets - told you I was sick) Maya informed me that we "forgot" a number of things. Apparently, a treehouse would look great with Victorian style furniture!

The only part that is sick is that I see no pictures of the gnome house or gnomes... come on woman. If we are going to deem you sick, we need real proof... not just bedding. ;)
And I can't believe you haven't seen these:
Ryan's Room Lighten Up - Lighting Set (http://www.mailjust4me.com/crafts/ryansroomlightset.htm)
See now I can do this: :p and say I was sick before you!

You have been holding out on me! I need that lighting set :drop: Um, I meant MAYA needs that lighting set (and I will get it for her).
The gnome house is actually the tree house in my other post so that's where you should be looking
And, I realized we have a great dead birch to cut down so Lily gets a home too if it all works out and isn't rotted.
oh, and did I neglect to mention that my husband who spoils me rotten thinks it's a wonderful idea to turn our entire property into a gnome and fairy wonderland :muaha:

Lol... now that is spoiled. And in two years your kids will be saying things like my dd "Mom, I love my doll house, but I want my little kitchen you made me in my room back." and you will cringe becuase you just planned an entire animal set to give her for Christmas. LOL!
Val
Ps I found the house. It looks great! I can't wait to see it all put together!

Yea, our property is going to kick gnome butt. I have some serious long term plans and my neighbors will be laughing at me for years I think.
