I don't have my "offer" or start date yet but I was told over the phone by HR yesterday that I was good to go and as soon as they got that info (hopefully today) I could get set up to start monday.
I am going to be a cardiac Tech on the cardiac medical unit at Catholic Medical center here in town. It is about 5 minutes from my house so the commute will be great. I am considered per-diem but I am promised 3 days a week and because I'm perdiem I will get 30% on top of my base pay plus evening and weekend differential. I'm so excited to start working there. My dream has always been to work in a hospital. I have before but never in a clinical setting. I will be doing EKG's, blood draws, bladder scans, heart monitors, etc. I can not wait to get started and learn, learn, learn! DH has already said that because of the pay that he's ok with me just working the 3 days a week, whereas where I am now I really needed to be working at least 4 days. I'll tell you that 1 day makes a huge difference!
Just wanted to share. :D
